Late October / Early Nov mayhem

I have had such a busy few weeks , it's all good and am know heading into a sort of quieter time :S. I returned from house sitting on my mums birthday and was really happy to see she liked her gift , we had a meal and on the Saturday we headed up to London to watch Singing in the Rain. This was my gift to my mum and she really enjoyed it . I have seen the show before for my birthday with a friend and was looking forward to all the dancing , costumes and music . The show is so good , it is in my top 5 of the best shows I have seen . I love this show because it is very true to the film and all the cast gave brilliant performances , Scarlett Strallen has a beautiful voice, Katherine Kingsley and her understudy Flora Dawson  were so funny , they have brilliant accents and Adam Cooper and Daniel Crossley were a excellent duo and great leading men . All the cast were brilliant and the costumes and set really brought the show to life along with the rain and music . I love this show and would go again , definatly reccommend going to see it !!!!!!!!

On halloween I travelled up to London with some friends dressed up to go on the Ghost Tour . We met in the Sherlock Holmes pub and caught the bus at 8:30, decked out in black this former funeral bus took us around Londons haunted spots  with Barry Sprout as our guide we felt safe and secure, but when health and safety inspector Hinge came aboard spooky things started to happen . It was such a funny night out , really recommend going to everyone as was so not scary we all left in fits of laughter !!!!!!
The Sunday before hand we were Pumpkin Carving and singing Karaoke at Ed's house , it was a fun evening filled with laughter  and Hocus Pocus as well , not sure if we can smell childeren yet lol!!!!!!!

I spent the first weekend of November again up in London visiting my old friend Adel . We met at Victoria station and travelled to the Westfields at Stratford. It is such a nice shopping centre and has so many shops including Forever 21 which is where we spent our time and money , afterwards we at some Lebonese food at PHO which was so nice and the food selection there is very wide so will cater for everyone , and it was nice to try some new cuisine . On the Saturday we walked from White Chapel to Liverpool Street and stalked I mean followed a vintage lady to the vintage fair at Spitalfields Market . This is a lovely area of London with loads of unusual gifts and nice restuarants , we ate at a Pizzeria called Stone and Fire which again was lovely but very filling . Then we went to watch Uncle Vanya at the Vaudeville Theatre starring: Ken Stott, Adam West , Anna Friel and Laura Carmichael . Vanya (Ken Stott), Yelena (Anna Friel), Astrov (Samuel West) and Sonya (Laura Carmichael) are all in love, with the past, with ideals and with each other. As their universe shifts around them they struggle to keep their emotions at bay in this exquisitely evoked comedy of the trials and tribulations of the human condition. I really enjoyed this play and all the actors gave fantastic performances Anna Friel has excellent stage presence and Laura Carmichael was brilliant. As a Downton Fan I woauld say to other Downton Fans go and see Uncle Vanya!!!!!!!
